Q: Why did you become a real estate agent?
A: I grew up in a family of Real Estate professionals. My mother Betty has been in Real Estate in Lake and Volusia County for 20+ years. She used to own and operate 3 of her own Coldwell Banker offices. and Now she is part of the Weichert Hallmark Properties Group. and my brother Chris who is now my partner started working in Real Estate about 4-5 years before I did. So I have been around the industry for a long time.

Q: What are some ways that being a millennial is an advantage for you as an agent?
A: I think growing up in a world surrounded by technology, and seeing how much that continue to change the Real Estate profession with the different online platforms and marketing. Being up to date and savvy with technology is an advantage.

Q: What is your favorite part of being a real estate agent?
A: My favorite part about being a realtor is the flexibility and working in a non-constraining atmosphere. My days are never the same and I'm always meeting new people, going new places and having new experiences. I love showing buyers around and seeing the excitement when they find their dream home, or bringing an offer to the seller that exceeds their expectations.

What does "success" mean to you?
To me, Success is being able to provide for the ones I care about the most. To be able to travel and do the things I have always dreamed of doing. I don't think being successful has to necessarily mean you are extremely wealthy, even though that helps. I think it means you and your family health and are able to live a stress-free life. When you go on a trip you can do it knowing you have worked hard enough to earn it.

You can find Patrick's feature on pages 36 -37 of the June issue!
